Strongest CBD Oils available

With CBD oil becoming more and more popular, it is no surprise that there are many questions that people ask before making a purchase. A common question is what strengths of CBD oil are available?

So, how do you choose the right strength CBD oil? And what do the different powers mean?

Is a high CBD concentration dangerous?

It is almost impossible to overdose on CBD oil.  The National Institutes of Health (NIH) have suggested that an adult can safely consume up to 1500mg of CBD oil daily within one month.  That isn’t to say we recommend you do that! Every bottle should come with guidelines that you need to follow.

There are several factors to consider when choosing the right dosage. For example, if you haven’t taken CBD before, your weight and importantly, your own preference.

Dosing is determined on an individual level by starting low and slowly adjusting the strength until you feel you have reached an optimal level.

If you want reassurance on any of the above mentioned, you should speak with your doctor.

Strong CBD oils v’s weaker

One big difference is the cost.  You will find that the stronger the dosage, sometimes the higher the price. It may be that you are unsure if the extra cost is worth it.

There is no obvious answer to that! What is right for you may not be the best option for somebody else.

What dosage is considered high?

Another popular question is what is considered a high dosage of CBD?  There is no substantial proof, but it has been suggested by some experts that if the strength is below 50mg of CBD per milliliter, it is considered low.  Some of the stronger oils are anything over 1500mg, with extra strong being 2000mg plus.

How do I determine the strength of my CBD oil?

That seems like a simple question.  Some will suggest, just read the label.  However, you may want reassurance knowing how it is measured before it reaches you.  Reliable companies provide third-party lab tests to verify the content of major cannabinoids (i.e. CBD, THC) as well as contaminants. Impact Sports follow these guidelines and will provide lab reports for all of our CBD products upon request.

Will a strong CBD oil show up in a drugs test?

In the UK drug tests are used to identify THC and its metabolites. The tests do not screen for CBD, but some regulated CBD products in the UK contain low amounts of THC. It means that theoretically, you may fail a drug test. To be sure, ask for a lab report from the brand you are purchasing your oil from and check if they have broad spectrum CBD oil rather than full spectrum like the 0% THC IMPACT CBD oils.

Is the strength really important?

There is no substantial proof that the strength of CBD oil is important.  It is down to the individual and their personal preference.  If you are in doubt, always seek advice from a professional.
